The band leader, Jacques L’Amant, spent twenty years playing in bars, clubs and Paris streets and then traveled to New York, Chicago and Austin to develop his own personal musical style that makes him become completely different from other similar musicians and bands. This CD is a good example of the interesting level this musician has reached. He is backed by Jon-Bernard L'Amant on bass, Lucky L’Amant on drums and special guests on harmonica in some tunes. All give us a very personal musical vision that goes among modernity, classicism and even underground fields. VERY GOOD!”
